The 185th Orange County Fair is officially underway in Middletown, and organizers say this year’s event is the biggest and best yet.
For the first time ever, the fair features thrilling monster truck shows and a KISS tribute band, adding even more excitement to the lineup. Visitors can still enjoy all the traditional fair favorites, including classic fair food, exciting rides and games for all ages.
Fair manager Ron Webber says the event is packed with new entertainment and unbeatable value.
“There are just so many things to do, and it is such a great value. Everything is so expensive these days, it’s just $10. So come on out with your family and enjoy,” Webber said.
Webber also highlighted several new and returning grandstand events.
“New this year, we added a lot of grandstand events. We brought back the monster trucks and the demo derby for the first time in over a decade. We have a lumberjack show, we have Burn Out Nationals, and some new entertainment with a Michael Jackson tribute show," said Webber.
In addition to the low general admission price, the fair is offering special deals throughout the week including the following:
Carload Monday: $60 per vehicle, includes admission and unlimited rides for everyone in the car.
$2 Tuesday: Admission is only $2, and all rides are just $2 each.
The Orange County Fair is open daily through July 27 in Middletown.
