Another storm raises safety concerns from Pelham residents over trees, power lines

The Hudson Valley seems to have mostly dodged a bullet in Thursday’s storm, but some areas are left in fear every time severe weather roles through.
Southern Westchester got slammed with a late afternoon storm earlier this week. On Willow Street in Pelham, a tree branch slammed into a car. No one was injured.
Residents on Fifth Avenue are consistently worried about trees and overhanging power lines on the property of a building that houses a day care.
People living in the area say they’ve had safety concerns for a while.
There’s been no word on plans to make any changes.
