A section of Cornwall turned into a mini-TV set Tuesday as production crews took over a quiet residential street to film a scene for a new television show.
Cameras were rolling on Angola Road near the corner of Mineral Springs Road, where crews could be seen outside a home with filming equipment and production trucks.
Cornwall Police Chief Joseph Gebert tells News 12 that a one-day permit was issued to allow the crew to shoot a scene for a show titled "Best Medicine."
A production team member on site told News 12 the project is being developed for Fox, although the network has not yet officially confirmed its involvement.
"Best Medicine" is an upcoming medical comedy-drama starring Josh Charles.
It’s based on the British hit "Doc Martin" and follows a brilliant but socially awkward Boston surgeon who returns to his hometown to work as a small-town doctor. The series is expected to premiere midseason during the 2025–26 television lineup.
Filming for "Best Medicine" is taking place in parts of upstate New York, with Cornwall now among the backdrops featured in the show.
