Wednesday was officially deemed Lisa LaRocca Day in Westchester, as County Executive Ken Jenkins honored the News 12 morning reporter with a special proclamation.

LaRocca was also recognized the night before at a gala for the organization Sharp Again, which focuses on Alzheimer's and dementia.

She served as emcee for the event and was named an honoree for her contributions.
